Mari completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Washington in Seattle where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech and Hearing Science, graduating with departmental honors. She received a Doctor of Audiology degree from Pacific University in Hillsboro, Oregon.
Mari completed her residency program at a multidisciplinary pediatric clinic as well as at a speech and hearing clinic. She also participated in the University of Washington Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (LEND) training program where she researched the importance of early childhood hearing screenings. She previously worked in educational audiology and hospital settings. Overall, Mari has well balanced experience in diagnostic audiology and working with hearing aids for adult and pediatric populations. Mari is committed to delivering exceptional hearing healthcare to improve access to communication and human connection.
Outside of work, she enjoys finding hidden gems in the Portland area, visiting local markets, and spending time with family and friends.
